CUBOCubo Architects push the envelope on technological possibility while staying true to the sensuous tradition of craftsmanship as an integral part of detailed Danish architecture.
The lever handle was designed in 2006 based on Cubo’s interest in working with pure geometries. Following the wish to enrich and infl uence the action of opening a door, when a blade of steel is subjected to a turn, and a twist, creating a form, which is immediate and simple. The lever handle creates delight and surprise in the interaction between the user and an ordinary event.
The Cubo lever handle is supplemented in the series by thumb turns, toilet indicators, and window handles. |
