Our customers are primarily architects, interior designers, contractors, builders, and door and window manufactures. Carl F International owns a number of exclusive brands within these product segments such as d line and collection of IKONS.
Carl F International has roots more than 125 years long that can be traced back to an entrepreneurial young Dane, Carl F Petersen, who founded a small ironmongery business in a basement in Copenhagen in 1881. Since the early days - serving primarily the Danish market as an ironmongery wholesale business - Carl F has developed into an international design-oriented company.
Today, we operate a unique multi-brand business and serve professional architects, designers, contractors builders, and door and window manufactures around the world with our own competent people in key markets and a continually developing distributor concept in our emergent markets.
In January 2007, Carl F was acquired by the public listed company Sanistaal A/S. Carl F International was established as a self governing subsidiary, and is now functioning as an international business incubator through which we continue to expand our product and service portfolio with a strong focus on emerging customer needs, innovation and design.
With headquarters in Ballerup, Denmark we employ approximately 350 people in 15 countries, and market our products in 46 countries.
